Festival DME - Dias de Música Electroacústica - is very pleased to announce the workshop ‘Thinking unorthodox with ableton’ with composer Mehmet Can Özer in Lisbon, Portugal Participants will have the opportunity to explore not only the basics but anything possible to create with this software. The course will start from the concept of Ableton Live, basics (recording, editing, routing the signals, etc) and then explore its own instruments in a non popular fashion. The students are free to choose what to do with the techniques given at the course. Main thing will be to think out of the box. Dates, schedule & location 1st weekend: November 23-24 2nd weekend: November 30-December 1 from 10am to 5pm at Lisboa Incomum Requirements Personal computer with Ableton live installed. Basic knowledge of audio software is recommended, but not mandatory. Participation fee €80 The masterclass will be held in English. The participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation costs.
