Deadline: 15 November 2019 Details: This year the TPPA choral competition will award one prize for best work for tenor-bass chorus and one prize for best work for soprano-alto chorus. Compositions should recognize the capabilities of amateur adult choral music singers with no less than three and no more than five voice lines. Piano accompaniment is preferred, but accessible acapella will be considered. Inclusion of instrumentation (strings, brass) is strongly encouraged. The work’s duration must be a maximum of 5-7 minutes. Composers of the winning compositions will receive $500 and performances of their work by the Triad Pride Women’s and Men’s choruses June 6th-7th, 2020 in Greensboro, NC.
