Made in Corby have received a grant from the Scottish Power Foundation for a year-long programme of creative activities for over 65’s, culminating in a weekend-long event at The Core at Corby Cube with performances, exhibitions and workshops. We are looking for theatre and/or music facilitators to run a block of weekly sessions with older people, to co-create work to be shown at the event on 13th and 14th March 2020. We are open to suggestions of how work is shared and would envisage a mix of performances, films and exhibitions. Facilitators may also be invited to lead an open workshop as part of the weekend. We are looking for artists in the following art forms to lead sessions: • Music performance (singing or playing instruments) • Music composition (to be performed live or pre-recorded) • Theatre performance We are particularly interested in receiving applications from facilitators who could create workshops/sessions with wellbeing focused outcomes.
