ISCM is seeking submissions from British composers and creative musicians for its World Music Days in New Zealand. The festival is an annual international showcase of new music from around the globe, attended by international delegates as well as producers, programmers and composers. The ISCM World Music Days 2020 festival will take place in Auckland and Christchurch from 21-30 April 2020, organised by The Composers Association of New Zealand (CANZ). How it works in a nutshell... As the official British member of ISCM, Sound and Music are invited to submit six new works (from at least four of fifteen categories) to the international jury that meet specified criteria. At least one of the six works is guaranteed to be presented at the festival, and (subject to funding), the composer is invited to attend. Artists can submit works to Sound and Music to consider for shortlisting (for free) or, alternatively, they can submit directly to ISCM as an individual (for €53.50).
