Instrument: piano Duration: 5-10 minutes PIANO RE-IMAGINED – This is an invitation for composers to address the phenomenon of the pianist‘s performance through a new performative prism, and to reconstruct the iconic and seminal practice of piano recitals. Freedom of expression is actively encouraged (audiovisual works, extended techniques, performative creations, etc.) simply stay within the limits of the piano and the pianists sensibility. Submission deadline: April 5th Application Method: Score (in .pdf format), midi/mp3 audio example, performances notes Entries must be labelled: PIANO RE-IMAGINED and sent to info@druskomanija.lt Compositions must be previously unperformed. Works selected by the performer will be performed and recorded at the "Druskomanija" festival May 2019. |
