The annual international composition masterclass organized alongside Sound of Wander 2018 will be held by Clara Iannotta, one of the most dynamic and successful figures of the international contemporary music scene. The masterclass will include two individual lessons for each participant composer and a public lecture by Clara Iannotta and it’s opened to students, instrumentalists, composers and musicologists of every age and nationality. This year the masterclass will feature the participation of mdi ensemble, artistic director of Sound of Wander, who will provide a reading session that will allow the participant composers to work on details of their selected scores. mdi ensemble will also perform a concert with Clara Iannotta’s music at the end of the masterclass.
