Location: 3 Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7PD Salary: £31,076 to £46,924 per annum pro rata Part Time / Term Time only Weeks per Year: 20 Closing Date: Sunday 09 July 2017 Interview Date: To be confirmed Reference: 161766 Various hours available per week dependent on student numbers Leeds College of Music Folk Pathway is looking to employ a dynamic and inspirational songwriter/composer with an established profile, to work alongside our existing faculty and add to the collaborative and adventurous nature of the conservatoire. We are looking for a highly experienced songwriter/composer with experience of sharing their knowledge in a Higher Education environment and will inspire and bring innovative practice to this progressive institute. The candidate should have an extensive songwriting/composition portfolio and be comfortable working within a wide range of folk repertoire. The candidate will be expected to deliver one-to-one tuition on a weekly basis throughout the academic year, guiding the student towards technical and performance assessments. The Academic Travel Scheme is available for visiting lecturers who live over 40 miles from the conservatoire. This covers contribution towards mileage, public transportation and accommodation.
