The New York Women Composers offers annual Seed Money Grants of $750 for concert projects that include a substantial commitment to music by NYWC members. Applicants may be solo performers, ensembles or presenting organizations. This is not a commissioning grant, nor to fund a program of the work of one composer only. There is no stipulation that the program consists of music by women composers only. Grant recipients select the music they want to perform, with a significant representation by works by NYWC members. There is no application fee, applicants do not need to be members of the NYWC organization, and concerts may be presented in any geographic location.
