NED Ensemble 2017 Call for Scores www.nedensemble.com The NED Ensemble during the X Festival of Contemporary Music "Between Past, Present and Future" announces a call for international score to select three to six works to be included in the three concerts scheduled in the month of May 2017. The Call for Scores is open to composers of all nationalities, with no age limit. The submitted compositions can be unexecuted, or already carried out in public, even the scores already placed with publishing contracts can participate in the "Call for Scores" Compositions of any style and aesthetics can partecipate, till 8 minutes lenght. The scores (maximum of two for each candidate) will have to be written for an organic from 1 to 5 instruments included between: • Flute in C • clarinet (in A, Bb and bass) • violin • cello • piano It is not permitted to use any type of electronic and/or amplification International call for scores To participate in the call for score you must submit the following documentation WITHIN HOURS OF 23:59 April 25, 2017 at: nedensemble@gmail.com 1.photocopy of identification document; 2.maximum 2 scores in pdf or permanent download link; 3.brief biography (up to 500 characters in Italian or English) 4.brief presentation of the piece/s (max 300 characters in Italian or English) 5.receipt for the transfer of € 25.00 on the following account: NED Ensemble BANCO BPM S.P.A. IBAN IT56S0503454463000000001026 causal: call for participation scores in 2017 The results of the selection, curated by Artistic Director of Ensemble NED, by members of the ensemble and the composer Andrea Talmelli will be announced to the participants and published on the site (www.nedensemble.com) by 28 April 2017. If selected, participants commit themselves to provide by email and for free the score and the parts for running, within three days of notification of the results, together with the release of any audio and video recordings. ORGANIZATION If selected, the NED Ensemble will provide as soon as possible a complete schedule of testing to allow composers to partecipate of any tests if they wish. The Hoteliers Association of Desenzano will provide all relevant information to the selected composers regarding accommodation and the instructions to get to the concert venues.
