Details: Leeds College of Music’s Undergraduate Studies department is currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to deliver the following module on the BA (Hons) in Music. The time given corresponds to the existing timetabling; there may be some flexibility with these where smaller groups of students are involved.

Year 1: (Specialist Study 1, 2 and 3 – Composition in Context 1, 2 and 3)
Teaching is 3 hour per week on Fridays from 9am-12pm
Teaching is by small seminar groups of composers (one group per year) who explore compositional repertoire that can inform their practice. Applicants should be practicing composers who have a strong knowledge of contemporary music and an ability to engage students in this area of study.

All applicants must possess a degree in music (preferably at postgraduate level) and have suitable teaching experience. In addition, self-motivation, reliability, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
