Details: You are invited to take part in Stop Making Sense, a workshop & performance, focusing on the voice and exploring the relationship between sound, text and meaning.

We will be experimenting with various modes of vocal expressions; relating to abstract sounds, concrete poetry, fragmented texts and gibberish.

You will be working in a small group to develop a collaborative performance at The Hardy Tree Gallery in London, as part of the opening of Steven J. Fowler’s Mahu exhibition.

This workshop suits vocalists and musicians, artists and poets expanding their practise into sound art, and those who are interested in exploring their voice in the wider context of sound making, experimental music and the sonic arts.

No previous experience in needed.

Saturday 6th of June 4pm-6pm (with a performance at 6.45pm).

£10/£8 concession / students.
