The 2014 Bliss Trust and PRS for Music Foundation Composer Bursaries programme is open for applications. 2014 deadlines · 17th March (for activity taking place after 1st May) · 22nd September (for activity taking place after 1st November) Each year The PRS for Music Foundation partner with The Bliss Trust to support emerging contemporary classical composers living and working in the UK who require funding to assist with professional development. Grants of up to £750 are available and can support activity such as, but not exclusively: · professional recordings of new works, promotional recordings or similar projects · computer hardware/software or similar resources · travel costs relating to attending performances abroad · copying · commissioning fees (to assist or supplement another body) · study at a summer school or similar (i.e. supplementary study) |
