Music happens and occurs through live performance, and the art form releases slowly over time. Music naturally uses movement to unveil itself. Sometimes when listening to a piece of music, it is obvious that the piece does not have a final destination or climax. It is more of a journey without an ending. Other music works have a clear destination or climax and a conclusion. We are looking to explore this concept in recently composed scores for a duet. The pieces selected from our call for scores will be played for a house concert and other venues sometime in 2014 or 2015. All composers selected will receive a recording of their work from the concert.
