KHORIKOS is accepting new a capella score submissions for our 2014 Modern Music series. We prefer contrasting new music styles. Your imagination is the limit. Any level of technical difficulty welcome. Selected compositions will be performed and recorded as part of our 2014 Modern Music concert series ---- ORTUS. Performance/recording dates will be announced, along with the selected compositions on September 1st, 2013 If you would like to submit a score, please contact: jjessejj@khorikos.com, and include "new music for khorikos" in the subject. If selected, your music will receive meaningful aesthetic attention, not just another accurate reading by vocal elites. A premiere is welcome, though the composition does not have to be Unpublished, Unperformed, or Unrecorded. We would rather a composer's guiding criteria be to send their absolute favorite/best work. 1 submission/composer. Must be a living composer, otherwise no age limits. 15 minute max duration, though shorter works are welcome. KHORIKOS is a balanced 30 SATB voices -you can email a PDF of your score. midi files welcome. |
