The International Alliance for Women in Music announces its call for scores for the Annual Concert 2013. The concert will take place in October 2013 in NYC (Date TBD). The New York-based ensemble mise-en will perform the concert (www.mise-en.org). Requirements Current membership in IAWM is required for submission Only one (1) entry per composer Works submitted should have a duration of 15 minutes or less. Works should be for 1 or more players (up to 7 instruments) from the following: 1 flute, 1 oboe, 1 clarinet, 1 bassoon, 1 horn, 1 trumpet, 1 trombone, 1 percussion, 1 piano, 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 violoncello and 1 contrabass Works with electronics are welcome. Upon notification of acceptance, all performance materials must be immediately available. If selected, composers must attend the dress rehearsal and performance.
