Profile Iain Masson is a freelance composer and workshop leader based in Birmingham. He is the winner of the 2005 Alan Rawsthorne Prize for Composition and has had works performed in public concerts by ensembles such as the Goldberg Ensemble, Brodsky Quartet, RNCM New Ensemble, and Strings of the RNCM. His latest work, PLUX 1, was premiered in the Bridgewater Hall and he has had his music broadcast live on BBC Radio 3`s "In Tune" programme. Further details at www.iainmasson.com.
