John Strieder (* June 2nd, 1980) is a German composer.
Getting in touch with European modern music in 1995, an intense period of study and research followed. Since these early days there had been a focus on the Second Viennese School, which he considers to be his tradition, while the musical achievements of other cultures became very important to him. His music almost exclusively depicts inner processes, being an expression of emotional, intellectual and philosophical content, conveyed through music.
