In the latest Communications of the ACM there is a substantial paper called Alogorithmic Composition: Computational Thinking in Music. I think as it is a special paper it is open to all to read. I will try and find the link.......
I have skip read it twice but so far not found anything new or inspiring in it yet, but who knows........ The title sounds interesting.

Sorry, the peripheral neuropathy in my fingers induced by my ongoing medical condition has led to the invention of a new word.... Alogorithmic. I will be free of the drugs in only 6 weeks now... Roll on.
