I watched the tv Opera by Jonathan Dove over xmas, 'Man on the Moon' about Buzz Aldrin. I wondered if anyone else watched it and what their opinions were.

I couldn't stand watching it for more than a few minutes but I think that might have been more because of the silliness of singers miming to the recording - maybe I'm a asnob though. Wasn't to fussed on the music either, a friend of mine sang for the demo tape Dove put to Channel 4 and wasn't to complimentary of it either!

I agree, I just couldn't find anything in it. I lasted for about 30 minutes or the 55 minute duration. Interestingly I watched all of Cosi fan Tutti a few days before and didn't get bored once.
