Tickets: $15-25 (under 18 free) Fair Trade Trio (violinist Ashley Windle, violist Hannah Levinson, and cellist Jeanette Stenson) with guest collaborate pianist Taisiya Pushkar.
The Fair Trade Trio is a professional string trio that regularly performs around New York City and tours North America. The trio specializes in creating accessible performances for all audiences and has a mission to champion the works of living female composers alongside the standard chamber music canon. The Fair Trade Trio embarked on its second tour of the Pacific northwest in 2017 where they returned to perform at the Silk Purse Arts Centre in Vancouver, BC, the Oak Bay chamber music series in Victoria, BC, and the KidsQuest museum in Seattle, WA. The trio also made its debut at the Old Church in Portland, OR and at the Resonance at SOMA Towers in Seattle, WA with Seattle Symphony pianist Li-Tan Hsu. The tour featured the world premiere of Emily Doolittle’s string trio “Field Guide” commissioned by the Fair Trade Chamber Music Society.
