| 'Suite No.3 (nature)'

Describe some nature events.
Some this events I was feel in real experience and also for the
first time, like one Earthquake in Seatlle-USA - 2000/1.
Them I made the part IV of this Suite describing it.

I - Dance of the Trees
II - Sky Blue
III - The Snow
IV - Earthquake
V - The beatifull Sea
VI - In the Dark (Night)
VII - The Birds Flying
VIII - The Storm

Storm short description

The right hand describe the water coming and growing in rivers, in agitate way. The melody is developing in one kind of 'canon' way between the hands.

The left hand, shows the water leitmotiv, (explained above) but also some another notes and octaves.

This is a leitmotiv that represents the lightning
[flash of lightning, thunderbolt], and the performer must know how show it and intepretate correctly. | Op.213 - Piano Concerto No.4 (Bb minor) - The last Batlle

--------------------------
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
--------------------------

This concerto is descriptive. Three movements, describing three histories.
I - The battle, one fight between the good and bad (First moviment - Sonata)
II - The romance and love (Lied Form, A-B-A) and III - Midnight... The dance of the Ghosts... (Rondo/Sonata)

----------------------------
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
----------------------------

I - First movement.

Ia - Intro (In the begin and in the end of the Movement (The battle) - Measures 1 - 62 and 86 - 105.

My own 'Sonata form' in my own way, this movement begans with a Introductory leitmotiv (or leitmotif - A melodic phrase that accompanies the reappearance of a person or situation (as in Wagner's operas)) in 5th Major perfect way.

This is the 'signal' to let us know that the eternal (interminable) battle of feelings/emotions is present inside us. The piano answer in half note/quarter note (intentionally made in opposite way of Quarter note/Half note of the orchestra).

This is to show the 'duality' or the two faces of emotions - One ask to you be happy - 'this is the right thinq', represented by the the orchestra asking to you stay at the light world (positive) and, in the other side the piano answering to stay at the obscure world (negative, the sadness).

That is why the diference between Orchestra talking 'go, the light side wait for you 'but the Piano answer 'no.. let me stay here in the dark and obscure side'.

So, this 5th Major intro and Piano answering is very important to me describe what I want and because this will be displayed later, before the developed section.

After the intro repeat 2 times the same idea, in diferent way (orchestra asking and Piano answering) the battle of emotions start. Them, the Piano and orchestra goes to one kind of 'fight', duel.

The orchestra fight for his light side and the Piano answer saying 'no, let me stay here, in my dark side'.

This is displayed by the agitate part - the piano using octaves, modulations, in suspense way, using tuplets to do interminable dialogues with orchestra in between - creating more and more tension until goes to the F (in Sus4 and F7 way) and them the Piano do the fast octaves preparing the exposition of the main theme in Bb minor.

Ib - The first (main) theme. (Bb minor) - Measures 62-98

After the Battle Intro, and, the duel between piano and orchestra, the concerto goes to the romantic first theme, that represent one pause for the romance, moments of love.

This theme will appear frequently in this movement. After the orchestra play it, the Piano continue the theme with some modulations untill the Piano calls to the second theme in Gb Major.

Ic - The second theme. (Gb Major) - Measures 99-139

The second theme played by the winds, and after by the orchestra, represents the juvenility, innocent, and lean - handed side of us, a simple theme showed by the orchestra and Piano. This part ends by the the Piano in Bb Minor, whyle the orchestra made the reexposition of the Intro in Gb Major

Id - The developed section. Measures 138-210

The developed section begans with the Intro and after it, orchestra and Piano will goes to one intricate dialogue exploring the melodic and rhythm textures of the fist theme.

Ie - The reexposition of the first theme (Bb Minor) Measures 211-259

The first theme is played by all orchestra and piano togheter, in a passion way. After one coda, played by orchestra and Piano, the second theme will appear again.

If - The reexposition of the second theme (Db Major) Measures 260-288

The second theme is played by the winds and them by the piano. After, in a passion way, will be played all together, creating tension and tension untill goes to Bb Minor (in second invertion of the chord) preparing the Piano Cadenza.

Ig - The Cadenza, and reexposition of the intro as a coda. Measures 289-426

In the Cadenza part the Piano develops the first theme. After it, the intro come again to finish the piece.

II - Second movement (The love, romance) - Eb Major

Lied form (A-B-A), the romance. The 'B' part is one agitato, as a developed section of the 'A' - Rhapsodically where the Piano Improvise with orchestra.

III - Third movement (Dance of the Ghosts) - Bb minor

Rondo/Sonata - A (First theme in Bb minor) - B (Second theme in Ab Major) - A (Reexposition of the first theme in Bb Minor) - C (Developed section) - A (Reexposition of the first theme in Bb Minor) - B' (Reexposition of the Second theme in Gb Major) - C - Coda. | Rachmaninoff Rhapsody Op.96 - The same way I was do with Happy Birthday - PRELUDE CHORAL AND FUGUE, but here with with ever more technical dificulty. The Fugue is also big, and complex. I use the Main themes of the first mov. of Rachmaninoff Third Piano Concerto. I developed the themes in new and revolutionary ways: In way of Scherzo, Prelude Choral and Fugue, Dance, Nocturne, and much more.

Description
of the pieces

Piano Concerto OP.54 No.1 (A minor) . I wrote this concerto to help begginers medium skills pianist to perform one concerto with orchestra without any 'pain' - worries about technique. | The 2 rhapsodies follow the same estructure: PRELUDE CHORAL AND FUGUE. The Opus 96 is based in Rachmaninoff Third Piano Concerto (public domain in USA) main themes (First mov.), and The opus 98 never was made before: Based in Happy Birthday well know theme, but in serious way, in neo-romantic style, each part more and more dificult (each part is independent, so, can be played as a full piece) - So, is also didactical and in the same time can be used as a concert piece.
